A blog in the classroom would be an effective means for students to visually interpret information. Using the hands on approach of technology, students can read about, watch short clips and view photos on the topic chosen by the learning manager.
Whether it is set up by and maintained by the learning manager as a tool for students to gather information, developed as a whole class activity and updated together or individual student blogs, the opportunities to use this style in the classroom is endless. Even just thinking now, I can see this tool being used in a science experiment, as a whole class blog entering daily journal entries regarding the results of the experiment, or as a tool for individual assessment.
In the teaching context, I feel that the use of blogs in the classroom would be an effective tool for learning managers to utilize.
